A beautiful and flat out & back walk. We parked at Elterwate and followed the river south to Skelwith, with a stop for lunch at Chester’s before heading back again. A great walk for everyone with stunning views looking up to the Langdales. I have walked and tracked the route for you, and you can find the map on our All Trails account.
