We stayed in Moonlight lodge, spotless clean. Nice views, lovely hot tub, our dog loved the fenced garden while we lounged in the tub. Had a surprise visit from the Easter bunny on Easter Sunday with lovely cream eggs ( amazing touch by the staff ). Wonderful weekend break. Thank you all

This is our fourth stay at Lakes Lodges just across the road from Hawkshead village. We stayed in Kingfisher Croft, which has it’s own hot tub under cover so you can use it in all weathers. The lodge is well appointed with a big living space, kitchen and a huge bathroom. It’s very cosy and warm even without using the wood burner and has a washing machine which came in handy for washing our dirty walking gear during our two week stay. We enjoyed it so much we’ve booked for the same time next year. If you have any issues staff on site are helpful and efficient and nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic Lodge’s in Hawkshead with everything that you need. Finished to a very high standard and set in quiet site with space around you.
Staff are super helpful and nothing is a problem to make sure you have the best stay possible.

We absolutely loved our stay at Lakes Lodges. Everything was perfect. The lodge was exceptional and by far the nicest self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. The bed was super comfortable. The Lodge and site were spotless. Everything was 5*
The only thing that could have been better was if we’d booked for longer. But we’re already planning our next visit. Thanku.

What can I say, lodge accommodation more than 5 star, service and cleanliness first class, people lovely, location amazing. That good we extended our stay. Best holiday I have had in the UK. Can’t wait to go back later in the year.

Wonderful property in a beautiful location. On a uk road trip and will definitely come back and stay here again. Property is very well equipped, hot tub was great at the end of each day. Great base to explore the Lake District

Just arrived home from a weekend away with family, stayed in Pine Croft and Cherry Croft, both lodges were beautiful, lovey decor, very clean, spacious, great location and extremely helpful friendly staff. Will definitely be back thank you

Never fails to be just perfect! Amazing Lodges, stayed around 4 years in a row now. If you want something that little bit special this is it ! Location perfect an easy stroll into the quaint village, and great for walking too.

Just spent 3 nights in Daffodil Lodge absolutely beautiful , spotlessly clean in a lovely location great for walking and great food in Hawkshead hot tub was brilliant would highly recommend staying here dog friendly too

The lodges are self catering so can not judge the service, but everything was perfect. The quality of the lodge’s is second to none, and the location is fantastic.

Lovely lodge just outside Hawkshead village. Comfortable, cosy and amazing hot tubs! Our go to escape place! Highly recommended ! July 2024, back again, really can’t fault Lakes Lodges and with the addition of Billy’s Barr makes it better and better. [They] have created a fabulous eatery with some of the finest food ever, there aren’t enough superlatives to describe the fish and chips!! Thanks again – see you soon!
