Absolutely faultless accommodation, stayed in a lodge, they were very clean, very modern, comfortable, any problems delt with immediately. Conveniently the local village is just across the road with all amenities you need,local pubs etc for good food, had a lovely week there. Catherine We stayed for a long weekend in January 2019. Couldn't have been happier with our accommodation. Great to get a cosy log fire going. Very sociable open plan living, kitchen, diner. High quality bathroom fittings. Central heating made sure the lodge was nice and warm for arrival. 100% spotlessly clean throughout. Even the private outdoor hot tub was ready to go mid-winter. Fantastically located adjacent to village centre. Will certainly return. - James I booked Pine Croft for 5 of us in February 2017 with my partner and his family for his 50th Birthday celebration and can honestly say it was amazing and excellent value for money. The lodges are furnished to a very high standard, complete with log burner and hot tub. We ate in on our first night and found that the kitchen had every utensil you can think of which is unusual for self catering accommodation as there is often something missing! The lodge and hot tub were serviced daily and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lady in reception helped me with directions for a walk we had planned and even provided me with a map. The proximity of the lodge to the village centre was excellent to the coop and number of pubs. There are also a number of walks on our doorstep and didn't feel the need to use the car once whilst we were there.I would definitely return to Lakes Lodges! 🙂 - Caroline
