The outside porch leads into the entranceway and a useful, heated boot room with seating and hanging space for outdoor gear. Through the hall, the glass doorway leads out into the decked courtyard area, complete with outdoor hot tub, the perfect, private setting to relax under the stars with a glass of Champagne. The hall follows into the contemporary and well-planned lounge/kitchen/dining room, which is spacious and light with oak flooring throughout and two sets of double glass doors leading out to the decked veranda, to enjoy the open countryside. The beautifully furnished lounge area is warm and cosy with a log burning stove and a very stylish, Italian leather corner suite with footstool and co-ordinated furnishings. There is a wall-mounted 50-inch flat-screen TV with Freeview, Streaming Apps, Blu-Ray DVD Player, iPod docking station and free wireless broadband. The comfortable dining area has a circular oak dining table and comfy chairs, ideal for romantic candlelit dinners. The superbly fitted open plan kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need and a few special extras too. The bedroom is luxurious and beautifully furnished with quality furniture and a king-size bed. There is a large walk-in wardrobe providing lots of storage space and dressing table and stool next to the double full-length windows look out towards the open countryside. The fully tiled large bathroom with underfloor heating is superb. It has a stone freestanding bath with subdued lighting, a separate walk-in rain shower, ‘his and her’ basins, WC and two tall heated towel rails. There are complimentary toiletries and guest bathrobes and slippers provided for your comfort.

WOW Mistletoe was an absolute pleasure. Thanks so much the team. This Outstanding 5* luxury lodge is amazing!!! We can’t thank you enough. What a fantastic time we had and gorgeous . I’ve taken a few photos, but really they don’t do it any justice. You really have to come and see for yourself. Everything has been thought of and is done to a very high standard. It was like a luxury home from home and Lakes Lodges had thought of everything; kitchen essentials starter pack (dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc.), one night's worth of fire logs, matches etc., selection of DVDs and books at Reception, a rubber mat for dirty walking boots, plenty of hooks for wet coats to dry, robes, slippers, even an ice bucket and plastic champagne glasses for the hot tub ... the list goes on! The lodge was very clean and still looks brand new, and boasts a nice view of the lake and surrounding fields. From the moment we enquired about booking to when we left, the Lakes Lodges Team were friendly and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay and can't wait to return. Thank you. - Denis 2nd visit to Lake Lodges. Yet again fantastic. We rung up the week before and they had one lodge left on the 2nd site 10mins from Hawkshead in the Mistletoe Lodge. Previously stayed in Ivy Croft. This lodge was equally nice. Great location for some nice walks. Reception gave us a map to walk to Tarn How from the site and it was fab to complete the 6mile walk then relax in the hot tub. Just love this place. Great find! - Jo
