The spacious decked veranda is a delightful area to enjoy sunny days and in the winter months, the log burning stove provides a warm and cosy welcome. The furnishings are stylish and very luxurious with every modern convenience to make your stay a delight. The covered outdoor hot tub in a private courtyard style area adds to the ‘wow factor’ of this stunning lodge.

Ivy Croft is at the end of the driveway, overlooking the open countryside, providing a private location to relax and unwind. The outside porch leads into the entranceway and a useful, heated boot room with seating and hanging space for outdoor gear. Through the hall the glass doorway leads out into the decked courtyard area with stunning views, complete with outdoor hot tub, the perfect, private setting to relax under the stars with a glass of Champagne. The hallway follows into the contemporary and well-planned lounge/kitchen/dining room, which is spacious and light with oak flooring throughout and two sets of double glass doors leading out to the decked veranda, to enjoy the open countryside and the flowing waters of Black Beck. The beautifully furnished lounge area is warm and cosy with a log burning stove and a very stylish, Italian cream leather corner suite with footstool and co-ordinated furnishings. There is a wall-mounted 40-inch flat-screen TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod docking station and free wireless broadband. The comfortable dining area has a circular oak dining table and comfy chairs, ideal for romantic candlelit dinners. The superbly fitted open plan kitchen is very well equipped with everything you will need and a few special extras too. The large bedroom is luxurious and beautifully furnished with quality furniture and a king-size four-poster bed. There is a dressing table and large wardrobe providing lots of storage space and the double full-length windows look out over the beck. The fully tiled large bathroom with underfloor heating is superb. It has a stone freestanding bath with subdued lighting, a separate walk-in shower with overhead rain shower, an oversized basin, wc and two tall heated towel rails. There are complimentary toiletries and guest bathrobes and slippers provided for your comfort.

Ivy Croft exceeded our expectations, a beautifully presented lodge with comfortable furnishings, a well equipped kitchen and everything you need for a self catering break away. The hot tub was secluded with stunning views. The large bathroom was a definite WOW with a huge bath, walk in shower and underfloor heating with ambient lighting, just fantastic to relax in after a long walk. Conveniently located in a small town with quirky little shops and couple of nice pubs for a meal out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking to stay again in the near future. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Lorraine Best place to stay in Hawkshead or the surrounding area. Quality accommodation, luxurious bathroom etc, etc. Conveniently close to the village and associated pubs and shops. The co-op store is well stocked for anything you may need. Tip, if you're not into self catering as we aren't, ensure you book a table in advance at the local restaurant we used the Queens Head and found it to be good quality with great beers. Have been to this place five times in total, twice with family in Holly Croft and three times in Ivy Croft as a couple (this is our preferred lodge). -B.N. My partner booked this for my 37th bday and loved it. Stayed in Ivy Croft Cabin. Faultless!! We have stayed in many 4* in the lakes and this beats everywhere. Will be staying here again. It was a really hot weekend and the lodge had everything including a fan that came in handy. Great location for a relaxing night out in Hawkshead. - Jo
