The brand new <a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billys.restaurant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Billys Barr &amp; Restaurant<\/a> is now open at The Croft site in Hawkshead and offers great meals all day round.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Elsewhere in Hawkshead there are two other good pubs, <a href=\"https:\/\/queensheadhawkshead.co.uk\/\">The Queens Head Inn<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/redlioninnhawkshead.co.uk\/\">The Red Lion<\/a>, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/poppired.co.uk\/\">Poppi Red<\/a> which is open for lunches and pizzas in the evenings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Slightly further afield there are some great options in Ambleside (10-15 minutes drive) for other cuisines. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeffirellis.com\/\">Zeffirellis<\/a> is a fabulous vegetarian and vegan award winning restaurant in a contemporary venue. They also offer Movie deals with their cinema next door with prices from \u00a319.95 for a pizza or pasta meal and an early movie showing or a two course meal and cinema ticket in the evenings at \u00a328.95 pp.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>For finer dining we are spoilt for choice in the Lake District with eight Michelin Star restaurants within a 30 minute drive of Hawkshead, including the world famous L\u2019Enclume at Cartmel one of only nine 3* Michelin Restaurants in the UK.
